Little Joe Chickapig, written by Chickapig game creator, Brian Calhoun, and featuring illustrations from Calhoun and Pat Bradley, is a children’s book about hope, inspiration, and following your dreams. The story follows Little Joe Chickapig as he dreams of one day leaving the farm he’s grown up on. His imaginative tale soars across 32 illustrated pages featuring a space-traveling mouse, a musical dragon, and ultimately a lesson every parent wants their child to learn: follow your dreams, whatever they may be. Chickapig has donated a copy of the book to every elementary school in Virginia (the author’s home state) in advance of the book’s launch. In addition, The Chris Long Foundation donated 1200 books to local non profits and schools in Charlottesville, VA.
